Calvin Bishop Doerr is an artist based in Lincoln, Nebraska known for combining narrative poetry with puppetry and high-contrast illustrations. He explores themes of interspecies dynamics and the hierarchical systems that seem to accompany the human experience. He has worked in film, exhibition spaces, motion capture, speculative and experiential design. He held a position as artist-in-residence with the Burkholder Project from 2024-2025 and continues to collaborate with them as a visiting artist.
